			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Trying to lose weight can be the hardest goal to achieve. Setting a goal and doing everything it takes can be the hardest decision you can make….ahh why?</p>
<p>The biggest problems I have found with people trying to lose weight is that they don’t realise how hard they have to work, and how strong willed they need to be to actually reach their desired goal. Also they might find 5-10kgs is all they need to lose, where in fact they have more body fat than they realise they need to lose in the first place, and give up before what I call the primetime (My definition of when your body reaches a state of easier weight loss, your body is at a state of burning fat quickly, and you don’t have to work as hard as before- see me for more information).</p>
<p>There are so many of us looking for a quick fix, an easy way out or something that means you don’t have to work for it- is this lazy or what? And not to mention, isn’t it laziness that got you here in the first place?</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Here is my advice for those who want the honest truth to losing the weight and KEEPING it off FOREVER!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong>1<sup>st</sup></strong> realise gaining the weight is much easier than getting it off!  For e.g.  1 gram of carbs and proteins equal<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> 4 calories</span>, where 1 gram of fat <span style="text-decoration: underline;">equals 9 calories</span>- that’s more than double the amount to burn the fat!</p>
<p><strong>2<sup>nd</sup></strong> every calorie over what your body burns needs means you will be storing calories- which is in turn is all that extra body fat. Think of it as excess energy. If you don’t lower your calories and/ or exercise more to burn extra calories you won’t get rid of the weight!</p>
<p><strong>3<sup>rd</sup></strong> What are your priorities in life? I tell my clients if they don’t make what they want- losing weight etc, one of their top 3 priorities of their day, then the odds of them achieving this goal isn’t good.</p>
<p><strong>4<sup>th</sup></strong> When trying to lose weight don’t try to take the easy road. Give yourself time- 3 months is great in seeing and feeling the results of training. Working through old habits and learning new ones, and creating a routine that will last the long road. I have 100’ of reasons to why this time is worth it, if you want to hear them call me :)</p>
<p>Lastly if you really want to make a change for the better, and reach that weight loss goal, you need to want it and set yourself up not to fail. Get an experienced trainer, commit to 3-6 months depending on your individual needs (speak to a trainer to find out), and believe you can with giving it time and consistency. Also, there are no age restrictions with losing weight-</p>
